Sectors
Education and training are important to everyone, no matter what type of organisation they work in. Netskills has developed a unique cross-sector approach that identifies the key learning aims and outcomes for individuals and groups, and makes it possible to contextualise them for any sector.
Founded within the education sector, working heavily with higher education and further education, recent years have seen a focus on generic educational issues such as e-Learning and Information Skills, as well as Web Development, easily applied to schools and Adult and Community Learning with whom Netskills has been working closely, in collaboration with the National Institute of Adult and Continuing Education (NIACE).
Of course these subjects aren't unique to education, and we all learn throughout our lives. Cultural organisations such as Museums and Libraries are great sources of learning, as is the health profession and NHS, along with a renewed interest in recent years in work based learning in the commercial sector with whom we have been working closely in training and consultancy.
