Business & Community Engagement

Netskills completed two JISC-funded projects related to Business and Community Engagement (BCE) within higher education. BCE, which is also referred to as the 'Third Stream', covers a wide range of non teaching and research activities in higher education, including collaborative projects with local industry, public lectures, knowledge transfer, student placements and campus art galleries and theatres.

Social Software for BCE

In collaboration with JISC Infonet, we investigated the potential uses of social software in the BCE sector. The feedback gathered from a national survey and interviews informed the development of an online 'infokit' on social software, which includes guidance and case studies.
