Organisations increasingly have to demonstrate their impact, in both economic and social terms. However, how ready are they for the potential changes required regarding staff skill sets and working practices?
This project is supporting the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) needs of staff working in further and higher education and related sectors, including the Research Councils, who are involved in Business and Community Engagement (BCE).
Led by JISC and AURIL (Association of University Research and Industry Links), this project is an exciting collaboration between sector stakeholders. It is being delivered by JISC Netskills, a JISC Advance service, and is funded by JISC's Business and Community Engagement programme for two years from September 2010.
This project is highly collaborative, involving a range of sector stakeholders to ensure a co-ordinated and coherent approach which enables best use of expertise and resources.
The project builds two key developments which have now converged: an earlier JISC project to support training and CPD for BCE and AURIL’s current review of its CPD Framework for Knowledge Transfer.
