Who is it for?
The course is aimed at anyone who would like to develop a sound understanding of the key concepts and practical skills required to create and publish web content.
If you are already creating web pages or working with web content, this course will help you to consolidate your current skills and discover new tools and techniques.
You do not need any previous experience with HTML or CSS to attend. However, you should be familiar with using at least one typical web browser (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox) and be able to use Microsoft Windows to open, save and close files and applications.
How do I gain my qualification?
The training delivered during the course will cover the learning outcomes for the following units at the Award level on the Netskills/BTEC Professional Development Programme (PDP) in Web Development.
At the end of the course you will be given access to PDPOnline, the Netskills online assessment and support system. You will also receive a comprehensive pack of practical material to take away and use as you work towards your qualification.
All assessment takes place after the event, in your own time. You will have up to two years to successfully complete a practical assignment for each unit in order to gain your Professional Certificate in Web Development – so you can reflect on the training we have delivered and practice your skills first!
