Assessment for Learning: Harnessing Technologies A FREE event supported by the Higher Education Academy and JISC
Assessment, when used well, has long been recognised as a key element of developing effective learning. The use of technology to assist assessment has brought a range of assessment tools and techniques into general use. This free workshop aims to explore these assessment resources and investigate their pedagogic value. The workshop is sponsored by the Higher Education Academy and the JISC.

This workshop is aimed at lecturers, learning technologists, staff and educational developers who are interested in the use of technology to support assessment.

- Matched assessment techniques to different learning needs
- Constructed an assessment blueprint and created grading criteria
- Evaluated a range of assessment resources
- Related assessment types to levels of learning using Blooms taxonomy
