Professional Development Workshop for External Engagement: Information Management Focus A FREE event provided by the JISC 'Supporting Training, CPD & Staff Exchange for BCE' project
Institutions are increasingly involved in a wide range of external engagement activities and supporting the development needs of staff involved in these diverse activities is a challenge. This workshop provides an opportunity to discuss these issues, explore new resources and contribute to national strategy.
JISC Advance, a collection of JISC services, provides a wide range of staff development opportunities and resources relevant to those involved in Business and Community Engagement (BCE). The workshop will introduce a new online skills tool which has been developed to guide users to relevant resources based on an individual skills profile. It is being developed in partnership with relevant sector bodies, including AURIL, the IKT and PraxisUNICO, to ensure a coherent approach.
JISC Advance resources cover a wide range of topics and today's workshop will highlight information management issues relevant to external engagement practitioners and the implications for staff development.
