Who is it for?
Anyone looking to start making web pages will learn how to achieve consistent, well-structured results with their own content. Experience acquired at this stage also lays the foundation for more sophisticated web page construction, using technologies such as Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and JavaScript.
Participants need no previous experience of creating web pages, but should be familiar with a web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox etc.) and using Microsoft Windows to open, save and close files.
By the end of the workshop participants will have:
- Created working web pages including images, links and much more
- Used simple style sheets to format web pages
- Practiced their new skills by designing and building their own web pages
