Digital Storytelling for Teaching and Learning

Stories play an important role in our understanding of the world and ourselves. They provide a way of constructing meaning around experiences in a way that can be communicated to others. Developments in web technology and the variety of digital media now available provide easy access to a wide range of tools for creating and sharing stories. This workshop will introduce you to a range of storytelling techniques and technologies to enhance teaching and learning and to show how they can be used for collaborative work and as an aid to critical reflection.
