Extending IT Support for External Engagement Helping IT services provide support for engagement between institutions and their external partners

10:00 - 16:00 Thursday 16 July 2009
24 Eversholt Street, Euston House, London

This is a FREE one-day event, delivered in co-operation with UCISA as part of the JISC Business and Community Engagement (BCE) Programme. It will explore key challenges facing IT services as they look to extend provision for their institution's engagement with external partners - such as identity management and the implementation of CRM systems. As such, it is aimed at IT service directors, managers and senior staff from UK HE and FE institutions.

As well as including the latest work and case studies emerging from the JISC BCE programme, this event will also provide an opportunity for you to discuss relevant issues and exchange experience and solutions. Additionally, your contributions will help to focus currently planned outputs and inform future activity for JISC as it seeks to support your work.

About the JISC BCE Programme

The JISC Business and Community Engagement (BCE) programme is designed to support institutions as they meet new strategic challenges presented by the increasing importance of their relationships with commercial, public sector, cultural, social and civic organisations.

Throughout the lifetime of the programme (and its outputs) JISC is aiming to support the connection between BCE activities and key internal strategies, processes and systems, in order to deliver services which benefit not only the institution, but also the wider economy and society.
