Our room hire fees include the use of on site refreshments (tea/coffee/water/biscuits), flip chart paper and pens, notepads/pens for delegates, and use of headphones (if required). All bookings are subject to our Terms and Conditions of Hire

Internal Notes
Internal charges are considerably lower than standard rates. We charge the minimum possible fee in order to maintain the facilities and services it offers. Charges are made to all University Departments, including those within Information Systems and Services (ISS).
Newcastle University staff using the facilities will be required to login to PCs using their own registered University login and password. We can provide logins for Non-University delegates, these are charged at £25 per login
All machines are configured to the Standard Desktop provided by Newcastle University. Facilitators cannot pre-load software onto the PCs, any additional software is by prior arrangement with our technical team.
Multiple room bookings
Our adjoining PC rooms, 1.13 and 1.14 can also be opened up to offer one larger room of 38 PCs. We can always offer excellent rates for multiple-room bookings and/or multiple dates, please contact us for availability and prices.
Out of hours use
It is possible to use the Training Suite outside the normal working day, however this is subject to availablilty and additional fees:
- Weekdays before 8.30am or after 5pm: Individual room charge plus £25 per hour/part hour
- Weekends 9am-5pm: Individual room charge plus £175 per day/ £100 half-day
- Weekends before 8.30am or after 5pm: Individual room charge plus Weekend fee plus £25 per hour/part hour
Food
Buffet lunches can be provided, if required at a cost of £10 per person. We use a local catering company who offer a fine a selection of sandwiches, homemade snacks, fruit platters, desserts, and fruit juice. Our buffets include a wide choice of vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods and cater for specialist dietary requirements (notice required).

Extras
We can also provide additional sundry items such as additional flipcharts and pens, floppy disks.
