Train the Trainer
This workshop provides advice and guidance for running face-to-face training courses on topics related to the internet. Drawing on Netskills' experience of over 8 years of delivering training, the workshop considers all aspects of the training process, from initial planning and design, through to development of materials and delivery of live demonstrations, finishing with evaluation techniques.

Who is it for?
This practical workshop is targeted at anyone who already has or is likely to have a training role and who wants to be involved in the delivery of internet-related training to other staff or users. This workshop is not aimed at teaching staff.
Participants need no special technical skills; however, it is expected that participants will have some training experience and will be familiar with using the internet. Participants should be familiar with using a Windows-based computer and using the internet via a web browser such as Internet Explorer.
By the end of the workshop participants will have:
- Used a planning form to prepare for the organisation and delivery of a face-to-face training session
- Had the opportunity to discuss the challenges associated with internet-related training
- Used a variety of software tools which can aid the creation of training materials (including some tools for web-based delivery)
- Developed a web quiz to incorporate in a training session
- Learned how to prepare effectively for a live internet demonstration, using tools such as an offline browser
- Explored training materials which are relevant to their own training role
- Investigated the evaluation of training sessions
