Macromedia Dreamweaver is a popular software package incorporating tools for web page creation and web site control and management. This workshop offers a brief overview of HTML and web, before introducing the key features that the latest versions of the package offers for creating and formatting web content.

Who is it for?
Suitable for both beginners and those with some web publishing experience, this is a practical workshop for those would like to use a web publishing tool to create their own web pages. Whether they are new to web authoring software, changing authoring tools or upgrading from older versions of Dreamweaver, participants will quickly be creating sophisticated web pages.
Participants should have previously used the World Wide Web through a current browser and must have experience of using Microsoft Windows to open and save files and work with software applications.
This workshop is suitable for beginners, however some prior understanding of web publishing, HTML and CSS would be useful, but is not essential.
By the end of the workshop participants will have:
- Written a number of web pages using Dreamweaver
- Included images, tables and hyperlinks in their web pages
- Created and used style sheets for formatting and presentation
- Designed pages using tables and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for layout
- Gained an understanding of the relationship between Dreamweaver and web technologies such as HTML and CSS
