How do I arrange onsite training?

When you contact us about onsite training, your request will be passed on to a consultant trainer who will contact you to:

  • Discuss your specific training needs
  • Outline the options available and help you choose the best solution
  • Discuss any technical setup and venue requirements
  • Give a quote for the fixed costs involved
  • Arrange a suitable date(s) for delivery

Once you are happy we will send out a full confirmation of the details in writing for you to agree and return to us – then your event is ready to go.

In the run-up to the event your trainer will be in contact with you to check on the final arrangements to ensure that it runs as smoothly as possible.

After the event they will also provide you with feedback from the day that you can use to help plan your next steps.

How quickly can I arrange onsite training?

The demand for our training events is always high and we recommend you contact us around 10 weeks in advance to ensure the best possible availability of trainers and topics for your event. However that doesn't mean we can't run at shorter notice, so do contact us and ask!

How much does onsite training cost?

For a standard workshop we charge a fixed daily fee, plus expenses for the trainer. Expenses will typically include travel to and from the site, subsistence and an overnight stay in a hotel.

Our standard onsite one-day workshop fee is £1095 for up to 12 attendees. As part of our commitment to the education sector, a discounted price of £999 is available for UK universities and colleges. These fees include printed materials for up to 12 attendees.

For other types of training event, such as shorter, multi-day, or events for a larger number of attendees, your consultant trainer will discuss specific costs with you when you contact us.

What is a standard workshop?

A regular workshop from our current onsite range, delivered with no extra customisation to the materials.

That doesn't necessarily stop us from tailoring the delivery specifically to your audience though – especially if you are arranging a programme of our events.

What is the maximum trainer to attendee ratio?

Our training events usually operate with a maximum ratio of 12 attendees per trainer to ensure the optimum balance between effective results and value-for-money. Your consultant trainer will be able to advise you on the ideal ratio for your event.

Can you customise the materials for us?

Many of our workshops can be tailored for individual audiences. However, depending on the level of customisation, – the work involved may cost a little extra. Your consultant trainer will be able to give you a specific price for the training you need.

Do you offer any other topics?

At Netskills we have a wide range of expertise and material, in addition to the current onsite range, and we have a proven track record in providing bespoke training over a wide range of topics.

So if you can't see what you are looking for in our onsite range, don't let that put you off contacting us.

What facilities will we need?

A typical Netskills training event requires a PC-equipped training room with projection facilities and a suitable breakout area for discussion and group work. Each event will also have other specific requirements and these will be explained to you by your consultant trainer and confirmed to you in writing before you book your session with us.

Most training days will run from 09.30 – 16.15 and we normally ask that you provide tea/coffee and lunch for the participants, since the discussions that take place in the breaks are very often a valuable part of the day.

For full details see the Terms and Conditions.
