Overview
Web authors and database users are becoming increasingly aware of the massive potential for integrating web and database technologies. There are many practical uses such as providing cost-efficient information services or intranets, revitalising legacy database systems, as a means of managing web-based information, and for electronic commerce.
The aim of this unit is to introduce the key concepts and basic skills required to publish database managed content on the web via a range of web technologies.
