Overview
Increasingly, web designers now wish to incorporate more than text and static images in their sites. This can include relatively simple elements, such as animated text, images and buttons, as well as more sophisticated multimedia applications, such as tutorials and simulations. Software tools such as Macromedia Flash can put much of this functionality a directly into the hands of the web developer.
This unit covers the use of a range of techniques for creating and using graphics and animated content for the web.
