Overview

There are seemingly endless ways to publish content on the web, however almost all of them rely on the same key principles and technologies.

A sound understanding of the core mechanics of web page content structure and delivery will allow all web authors to achieve consistent, accessible results that are both time and cost effective. Getting to grips with these basic technologies also promotes good web authoring practice and will allow you to move on to create more sophisticated pages, using the latest technologies, with the confidence that comes from a building them on a sound underlying framework.
