Overview
This unit provides an opportunity to apply the knowledge , understanding and skills acquired from the programme to develop a practical web site solution to a realistic problem. Candidates will be expected to develop this project within their own working environment with support from Netskills. Projects can be designed individually or as part of a small team, providing each candidate can clearly demonstrate their role and responsibilities in the project.
All certificate and diploma candidates are required to undertake this core unit.

- Select, specify and plan an appropriate web site project.
- Appraise the feasibility of the agreed project.
- Appropriately define the target user group for the web solution.
- Production of documentation to define key project deliverables and milestones.
- Document the intended monitoring processes for the project.
- Evaluation of the project plan.
- Document limitations and potential future developments of the selected project.
