Hanna joined Netskills in 2010 as a Consultant Trainer. Originally from Finland, Hanna has lived in the North East since 2008. She has a MA in Multimedia Journalism from Newcastle University in addition to a BA degree in Journalism for which she studied in Helsinki.
At Netskills Hanna is particularly interested in exploring the effective use of multimedia content, Web 2.0 tools and mobile technologies.
Prior to coming to the UK, Hanna worked at one of the biggest national news websites in Finland, creating multimedia content as well as developing the site as a technical producer. At Netskills she hopes to use this experience in developing training materials and workshops about web content and design.
Hanna is passionate about the web and the way it changes the way we communicate. In her spare time she manages a regional digital news website, keeping up-to-date with the latest happenings in the world of new media.
Outside of work, Hanna is a keen photographer and enjoys playing and watching a number of different sports.
