Lord Puttnam, Sunderland University Chancellor, as well as the man behind the films Chariots of Fire and Local Hero, recently presented the awards at the RSC Northern gala night in Newcastle to celebrate e-Learning in the region.

Netskills sponsored the "e-Learning Support Award" which was won by Sharon Bull from Newcastle College.

Sharon is an ILT Training Coordinator and has been a source of support and inspiration for many staff, encouraging them to trial new delivery styles and share resources. Her dedication and commitment have helped in culture change and in promoting excellence in learning and teaching at the college.
