Initial results from a survey of IT services staff were presented at the 2006 UCISA TLIG Conference. Netskills is currently conducting the study, investigating professional development and accreditation in the sector.
At the conference Netskills Consultant Trainer Paul Trueman presented preliminary results from the first hundred responses. "These results help to highlight the current trends and concerns of ICT staff in regards to continuing professional development", commented Steve Gough from Reading University. The presentation was followed by a successful and informative discussion session led by Netskills and UCISA staff.
The conference was held at Homerton College Cambridge, from 5th-7th July.
The survey can still be completed - if you would like to influence staff development and training in the IT sector please fill in the survey online. All participants are entered into a prize draw for a £50 Amazon voucher!
