A free-to-attend Netskills workshop is being organised in June to explore how e-Portfolios can help in modern day teaching and learning.
The workshop, taking place in Newcastle on Thursday 24th June, will feature three expert guest speakers who will give practical examples of how their institutions have used e-Portfolios.
Chris Thomson, consultant trainer at Netskills and the main organiser of the workshop, is excited about the upcoming day. He said:
"It will be an excellent opportunity for people to meet other practitioners to discuss and share experiences with them. The day will focus on how technology can help in learning & teaching with the emphasis more on pedagogy than technology."
Drawing on the work of JISC-funded projects, the workshop will feature relevant case studies highlighting some of the key issues in practice. Chris said:
"e-Portfolios is an area that is moving very quickly. This workshop provides a great chance to catch up with the most recent developments and to share ideas with colleagues. As you'd expect from a Netskills workshop, there will be hands-on time to help those who haven't used e-Portfolios before."
