Netskills is working with the Strategic Content Alliance to help make publicly funded digital content easier to find, use and re-use.

As part of this project, we're running a nationwide series of events, providing a practical introduction to search engine optimisation. These events outline some simple steps you can take to help people find your content through search engines. We also consider the potential of social media for enhancing your online presence.

The events are already almost full, but don't worry if you didn't get a place. You'll be able to join in remotely through the event blog, twitter and other web services (event tag is 'scaseo'). We'll also be making recordings of presentations and the course materials freely available after the event.
