Communication is vital for the success of any project, so it always pays to check out new approaches. That's exactly what members of projects from the JISC e-Learning programme did on our new event Using Technology for Effective Project Communications.
The event was designed to help participants understand the different audiences for their projects, consider their specific communication needs, and identify effective ways to meet those needs through the use of technology. That included investigating the potential of blogs, wikis, podcasts and social networks.
Attending the event, Lisa Gray, JISC e-Learning programme manager, said, "I'm a big fan of the mixture of activities you integrate within the workshop. Everyone attending today seems to be really engaged and as discussions have been going on, we've been getting a lot of input."
You can hear more feedback from Lisa on our page about the event. Whilst there, you can also listen to another participant's feedback, view presentation slides, watch a video overview and see photos from the event.
