Set your audio free with podcasting

Producing a podcast is simple, but producing one that people will want to listen to takes a bit more know-how! Our new workshop provides a practical guide to creating better podcasts.

Did you know that there are more than 15 million listeners regularly tuning into podcasts? Podcasting sets audio free, allowing people to choose when, where and how they listen to your content.

But how do you get started? What equipment do you need? How do you record, edit and publish a podcast? And what makes a good podcast?

Our new workshop, developed by Netskills trainer Steve Boneham, is here to help. He says, "We take a very practical approach, working in small groups to help participants plan, record, edit and publish their own podcasts."

That's something that clearly impressed attendees at our launch event. One attendee said:

"I Really enjoyed the workshop and picked up some great tips - the enthusiasm of the presenter inspired me to have a go!"

To have a go for yourself, book on one of our forthcoming events:

* Newcastle (15th February)

* Edinburgh (2nd April)

* Manchester (23rd April)

* London (7th May)

* Bristol (15th July)

Note that this workshop is free for members of the JISC Users and Innovation Programme Community of Practice (Emerge).
