e-Learning accreditation mapped to LSN framework

The Netskills/BTEC professional development scheme in e-learning has been fully mapped to the LSN professional development framework in e-learning.

The LSN framework is a significant new resource for post-16 teacher education and training and for staff development within the FE system.

Aimed at supporting the new Teacher Qualifications Framework (TQF) in FE which rolls out in late 2007, it is expected to be widely used for CPD in FE colleges.

Netskills Accreditation Programme Manager Danny McAtominey says:

"The mapping of Netskills programme units enables selective units to be used for CPD purposes and provides nationally recognised accreditation to meet CPD needs."
