News: Make the most of Web 2.0

A new Netskills workshop will help you use Web 2.0 technologies to improve how you work with the web.

Web 2.0 Tools to Make Life Easier: Surviving Web Overload introduces a range of tools to make the web work for you. From online post-it notes and to-do lists to personalising your own Google home page, the web is awash with tools and gadgets to help you streamline your working and home life.

"There are so many new sites and tools out there that Web 2.0 be confusing to many people," says Helen Conroy, Netskills Trainer. "This workshop aims to provide practical advice and guidance as well as hands-on experience of using these tools, enabling attendees to find the right tools that suit their specific needs."

The workshop ran for the first time in Belfast in September and was very well received. One attendee said, "It was brilliant - I will definitely use what I learnt today."

Another said, "Excellent session - well structured, well presented. Yet another fantastic course by Netskills - thanks!"
