Netskills are contributing to a free-to-view webcast for the Business and Community Engagement (BCE) sector on 18 July 2007. If your work involves CPD, knowledge transfer, work based learning or employer engagement, this online event will outline how we can help you make the most of the web.
The main aim of the webcast, hosted by JISC Legal, is to raise awareness of the legal issues involved in BCE activities and to show how JISC Legal can assist with these issues.
However, Netskills will also be presenting details of the two BCE projects we're working on.
The first project, in collaboration with JISC Infonet, has investigated the sector's use of social software. This has led to the creation of an 'infokit' - an online resource demonstrating best practice with social software.
The second project has adapted our existing training products to create a range of free online resources specifically for BCE. These practical resources will help you use the web to engage users and to enhance your continuing professional development.
We hope you'll 'tune in' on July 18th to find out more. Details of how to do this are available from our BCE project pages.
